Amarr Adds Fimbel Residential Models to Product Offering
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Amarr’s large selection of steel carriage house doors just got a little larger. The Designer’s Choice 500 and 400 are now available, giving Amarr three different steel carriage house product lines. In addition to providing excellent curb appeal, the two models in the Fimbel Designer’s Choice Collection are made with polyurethane insulation. This gives both the models a high R-value, providing exceptional energy-efficiency at an affordable price. The models feature a classic bead board design, which coordinates well with many home styles. The Designer’s Choice 500 is 2’ thick with a 25-gauge exterior steel skin and a 27-gauge interior steel skin, giving the door an R-value of 15.67. The Designer’s Choice 400 is 1-3/8” thick with 25-gauge exterior skin and 27-gauge interior steel skin, giving this model an R-value of 11.04. Other important features for these two carriage house models are their options. Both models are available in four colors (white, almond, sandtone, and brown) with 10 window options. Decorative handles and hinges can be added to give the doors an authentic carriage house look. The Fimbel Olympus 400, a traditional raised panel door, has also been added to Amarr’s residential selection. This model is a 1-3/8” thick and has an R-value of 11.04. The Olympus 500 (previously called the Olympus) has been a part of Amarr’s residential offering for almost four years.
