Amarr Opens Door Distribution Center in Miami
MIAMI – Amarr Garage Doors, one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of garage doors and door access systems for residential garages and commercial applications, has opened a door distribution center in Miami. The 26,700 sq. ft. facility, which Amarr calls a “Door Center,” has three employees and is the company’s 70th Door Center.
Amarr products will be distributed from the Miami Door Center to approximately 60 independent garage door dealers throughout southern Florida, allowing them to provide rapid delivery of Amarr products to their customers. The company’s other Door Centers are located across the United States and in select international markets, including another Door Center in Riviera Beach.
Amarr Door Centers are stocked with hundreds of sizes and styles of residential and commercial garage doors. Each Door Center provides on-site alterations and can customize doors to fit almost any opening—usually within 24 to 48 hours. Amarr offers Dade County approved doors (specific models and sizes only) and impact glass (for specific models only).
“In recent years, we have experienced increased consumer demand for Amarr door systems, and, as a result, recognized the need to have a Door Center in Miami to serve the demands of our dealer partners in southern Florida,” Richard Brenner, Chief Executive Officer of Amarr, said. “Amarr was started in 1951 by my father and two uncles. They made high quality products and excellent customer service a way of life at Amarr, and we intend to continue that tradition at our new Miami Door Center.”
Robert Esparragoza serves as manager of Amarr’s Miami Door Center. Prior to joining Amarr, Esparragoza was logistics manager for DHL. In that role, he opened numerous distribution centers throughout the United States, Mexico and South America. He has extensive knowledge of land, air and sea transportation systems.
