Amarr Adds New Panel Designs and Triple-Layer Model to Oak Summit Collection
WINSTON-SALEM – Amarr Garage Doors, one of the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of garage doors and door access systems, has introduced new recessed and raised panel carriage house designs for its Oak Summit Collection of carriage house garage doors. Amarr also added a new model to the popular collection called the Oak Summit 3000.
“Amarr’s focus for the past few years has been on giving homeowners more choices than any other garage door company,” Vickie Lents, Amarr’s residential category director, said. “With the new panel designs and Oak Summit 3000 model, the Oak Summit Collection is now available in more than 72 style combinations.”
“The exciting new door designs in the Oak Summit Collection help home owners create a unique carriage house look at an affordable price,” Lents added. “They replicate traditional, swing out carriage house door styles but open overhead like other modern garage doors.”
Amarr’s Oak Summit Collection is now offered in three carriage house designs: traditional bead board plus the new recessed and raised panels. The three designs are available in all three construction types in the collection: the Oak Summit 1000, Oak Summit 2000 and the new Oak Summit 3000. To complement the new carriage house designs, Amarr also has introduced two new window inserts, the four-lite Thames and the four-lite Arched Thames, available on all doors in the Oak Summit Collection.
With the addition of the Oak Summit 3000, the Oak Summit Collection is offered in a total of three models: the Oak Summit 1000, constructed of a single layer steel; the double-layer Oak Summit 2000, which has steel plus polystyrene insulation; and the Oak Summit 3000, featuring triple-layer construction of steel, environmentally safe polystyrene insulation and another layer of steel.
The Oak Summit 3000 has 27-gauge exterior and interior steel, 6.58 R-value insulation and 14-gauge heavy duty hardware. The doors are offered in white, sandtone and almond colors and come with a lifetime paint warranty. The Oak Summit 3000 also is offered with a variety of glass options, including standard glass, obscure glass and Amarr’s collection of DecraGlass™ windows.
The new Oak Summit 3000 model and new carriage house design options are produced by Amarr in Lawrence, Kansas, and are readily available through local independent garage door dealers nationwide.
