Amarr to Open Door Distribution Center in Attleboro - Chauvette Named Manager of New Facility
ATTLEBORO, MASS. (AUGUST 25, 2006) - Amarr Garage Doors, one of the world's leading designers, producers and distributors of garage doors and door access systems for residential garages, warehouses, convention centers, shopping malls and other commercial and industrial applications, will open a door distribution center in Attleboro, Massachusetts, in mid-September. An existing building, located at 20 Townsend Road, is being retrofitted for Amarr for use as a door distribution center and will have five full-time employees when it opens.
Amarr products will be distributed from the Attleboro Door Center to regional independent garage door dealers. The new Door Center will serve dealers in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts, allowing them to provide rapid delivery of Amarr products to their customers. The Attleboro facility will be Amarr's 65th Door Center. The company's other Door Centers are located throughout the United States and in select international markets.
Frank Chauvette will serve as manager of Amarr's Attleboro door distribution center. He previously worked as a restaurant manager and also has experience in the building products industry. Chauvette received the Associate degree in liberal arts from Community College of Rhode Island and also attended Rhode Island College.
"We have experienced increased consumer demand for Amarr door systems in recent years, and, as a result, the need to have additional door centers to serve our dealer partners also has increased.
